Cookie lovers in Shrewsbury have something exciting to look forward to! Crumbl Cookies, known for its mouth-watering cookies, is opening a new store in White City Plaza early next year. This new addition will offer locals another delicious option to satisfy their sweet tooth.
The new Crumbl Cookies will be located next to Jimmy’s Tavern & Grill, at the site where the old Thai Place restaurant used to be, at 50 Boston Turnpike.
This store will be the sixth Crumbl Cookies location for Dennis Sosa and his business partner Richard Howell. If you’ve driven by recently, you may have seen the store’s eye-catching pink signs on the windows with the fun message, “We’re moving on in!” It’s a clear sign that tasty treats are on the way.
Opening Date and Progress
Sosa mentioned that they are aiming to open the store by late January or early February. While construction is still ongoing, everything is on track.
“We’re still in construction, but we’re getting there,” said Sosa, who is 48 years old. “Right now, we are installing the tile floors and plan to have the baking equipment ready before the end of the year.”
Part of a Bigger Plan
The new Shrewsbury store is part of a larger plan for Sosa and Howell. From the start, they envisioned opening multiple Crumbl locations. Their journey began in May 2022 with the opening of their first store at The Shops at Blackstone Valley in Millbury. Since then, they’ve expanded to locations in Hudson, Attleboro, Foxboro, and even East Greenwich, Rhode Island. They are also considering a new store in Leominster.
“It’s been an amazing experience, and we’re really excited to keep growing,” Sosa shared enthusiastically.

The new Crumbl Cookies in Shrewsbury will not have seating inside, but that won’t stop cookie lovers from enjoying their favorite treats. The store will be open every day except Sundays.
The menu will feature Crumbl’s classic cookies, including the much-loved chocolate chip. But that’s not all! Customers can also expect a variety of fun and unique flavors. Some of these include:
